Sounds like starting...Your 5 miler was a good race! Sounds like starting out too fast is what you thought the problem was for not finishing as fast as you would've liked. I have to keep that in mind! <BR/><BR/>I have an 8K coming up on Feb. 24 and I've never raced that distance before. I'm aiming for 7:00-7:10s, but we'll see. I just need to properly pace myself. <BR/><BR/>I was disappointed with my most recent 5K for several factors, but I think I started too fast also (first mile was 6:48).
